This is the next quilt I finished (in the summer 2017) and it’s one I wanted to make since I started to collect the adorable embroidery designs I found at Embroidery Library. I’d buy one (or two) whenever there was a sale: buy one get one, wishlist deal, 10 for $10… Eventually I had all of the designs in the set.
I embroidered them on plain cotton flannel blocks and put them together with purple flannel borders. I used a lovely grayish-green plaid flannel for the back. I stitched front and back, right sides together with a single layer of plain cotton flannel between, turned everything right side out for a self bound edge and finished with stitch-in-the-ditch quilting. I love the way this quilt came out!
